Wily Scholars are promising students who are experiencing life challenges such as homelessness or foster care, or whose parents may be dealing with addiction, mental health issues, or incarceration. These students are navigating their college experience on their own and through the Wily Network are able to receive support.
The Wily Network provides a critical safety net for these Wily Scholars and offers weekly clinical coaching, financial assistance, community-building support, and networking opportunities like career fairs to help them move from surviving to thriving. The assistance the program offers these students works with them to manage challenges and celebrate successes at each stage of their educational journeys.
Since 2020, the Carole Remick Foundation’s generous support helped The Wily Network meet students’ emergency needs and funded the cost of Wily’s program for many scholars. The Foundation has remained a champion for Wily, helping the program expand and provide more Scholars with a comprehensive, year-round support system.
