826 Boston is a nonprofit youth writing and publishing organization that empowers traditionally underserved students ages 6-18 to find their voices, tell their stories, and gain communication skills to succeed in school and in life. Funding from the Carole C. Remick Foundation supports 826 Boston Writers' Rooms inside public schools. Founded in 2007, 826 Boston serves 5,000 students each year with programs that amplify their voices and help them express their ideas effectively, creatively, and confidently.
